Campus Recreation offers programs and facilities for Ole Miss students, faculty, staff, and community members. Structured and unstructured, traditional and nontraditional recreational opportunities are offered throughout the school year. The Employee Assistance Program or EAP is a confidential service provided by the University for all administration, faculty, and staff. With the permission of the department head, employees may be absent from work for up to one hour per week, to utilize this service.
The purpose of the EAP is to provide information, consultation, individual counseling, marriage and family counseling, and other services to any employee who may be experiencing personal or professional difficulties that may disrupt day to day functioning. See the policy.

The University of Mississippi Speech and Hearing Center has been on campus and providing services since 1966. Faculty/Staff/Students/Public may call 915‐7271 to schedule an appointment for speech/language or audiology services. We typically schedule an evaluation first. There are exceptions- someone that has completed recent testing at another facility and qualifies for speech/language services based on the scores they received on testing at that site. In addition to a doctor’s office on campus- the University of Mississippi offers employees access to on-campus physical therapy services as well. A physician referral is required.
